This is an albion bare blade type 18 single hand that they heat treated and i finish ground and mounted. The blade is 28", it is quite agile and stiff and has a nice edge. Weight is 3 lb. I forged the cross guard and back peened it to the tang. I lathed the pommel and back peened as well and then made an oak grip covered in hemp cord and then leather. There are some minor assymetries but I built it more with utility in mind and it is very solidly made. Asking 500$ USD OBO shipping included to Canada or USA. 470$ USD for a Canadian buyer. Thanks for looking! imgur.com/a/puLbJf5

Great profile on that, what's the balance point?

Solid work and solid deal. It's in a space that's overcrowded in my collection, but otherwise, I'd pick it up!

Thanks man! If it doesn't sell at this price i'll make a scabbard when i can get the time and sell it as a complete package. I wanted to keep it but times are very tight. One more vet bill and I'm hooped. Lol

I can attest to Senor Waltero’s hilt skills. I acquired a rock solid XVIa from him not long ago. Top shelf stuff.

How much would a scabbard add to the cost?
