Good blade. I have a Burgundian that I acquired from a forumite and it's lovely in the hand and in use. They share a blade so I can safely say if you're a sucker for hollow grinds like myself, you won't be disappointed to pick this up

Does it have a reinforced/thickened tip?

If you look at the edge profile on the side of the blade you'll see it swell and thicken at the tip. Some of the XVIIIb albion models have it like the Regent and Earl.
But sometimes they aren't present I guess depending on who's doing the grinding. You'll see it a lot more often on the XVa blades, the Warwick, Munich etc. The pointers arming sword I have, and a Prince I had before also have it.
If I get more liquid soon I'd be interesting in picking this one up from you if I can haha. I wanted a kingmaker for a bit. I love that green grip it has too.

Does it have a reinforced/thickened tip? I just looked at my Burgundian and these are my notes:
- It has a beautiful hollow grind with a pronounced spine. The spine goes all the way to the tip
- Due to the hollow grind of the blade, the profile looking directly at the edge makes the tip look thicker than the edges at the point. it is "reinforced" in the sense that the spine continues all the way until the edge of the blade, providing more mass.
- The tip has no other reinforcement construction like you would see in a LE Adorian or Rotmilan messer, or a type 1d falchion/messer

That was a great sword and scabbard. Glad it found a happy home with you.

Jeebus, you are making this tough to resist. Sorry, not sorry. Hollow grinds are irresistible, and with signature Albion quality to boot. Swords like this are uncommon, and if I literally did not have the same blade in my collection, I probably would jump on this sale, funds notwithstanding lol
