Hello all! For sale is an antique Spanish Bilbo. I recently acquired this piece in a trade, and it is a really fun piece! My guess is that it dates to the early 1700’s. It is about 34” long overall, and I assume the blade was cut down at some point. Overall it’s in pretty good condition. The only issues are that there is some slight movement in the pommel, and the wire wrap on the grip is pretty loose. I believe the previous owner has used fishing line around the top and bottom of the grip to tighten things up. I had originally planned to send it off to have the grip rewrapped, but decided to go ahead and let it go now. Any other questions, please ask, although I’m not an expert on bilbos, but I’ll do what I can. Asking $1050 shipped inside conus.

mrstabby: Been thinking the same - but the person that set up the page might not be there anymore and old code gets messy when not maintained. Might be a "repair subscriptions, destroy function X, repair X, destroy Y" situation by now - would mean a total overhaul. Nov 18, 2024 7:29:27 GMT
