(SOLD) Hi, I'm selling a pre-owned but really great condition Albion Fiore with custom/matching Valiant Armoury/Suttles antique green scabbard with antique brown belt/suspension for $1199 $1499 shipped in continental US. I accept Zelle and PayPal Friends and Family. Bought this recently from Age of Chivalry, and I like this Fiore's handling better than my Talhoffer (does anyone else find the Talhoffer's pommel too heavy...this question coming from a non-HEMA fencer/practitioner), but I just got a matching Castellan for my Talhoffer, so this fine Fiore is the odd man out and up for a new home.

Very nice... I'd be tempted, but, well, reasons.
On a side note... I know it's purely cosmetic, but that blade/crossguard gap is one sloppy mess if I've ever seen one from Albion. Still a nice deal if that doesn't bother you.

Yup, the least well executed of any Albion I’ve seen, that’s why I was sure to include a pic of it. Not nearly as bad (in a modern customer sense) as some higher end houses and even custom smiths that I’ve seen/owned…this and the worse examples of this area seem like the end mill or drill used to make the channel wandered a bit at places and left a jagged outline. For a working sword, that (seriously) doesn’t bother me after watching some Tods Workshop videos on the subject (i.e. the imprecision and inconsistent execution of some/many authentic swords compared to modern expectations) and looking closely at videos, pics, and even museum displays of authentic swords. Still, for a sword that I intend as a representative type display/reference piece, I do prefer precision, consistency, symmetry, squareness even if not necessarily typical in many authentic medieval swords. This is a working sword IMO…and maybe she’ll end up working for me Thanks.

I just had a fiore I sold recently, and still stuck with the scabbard lol. But I love the look of the Fiore so much, even if I prefer the handling of the Ringneck. The brown grip and green scabbard is also such a nice combo. Kind of reminds me of a ranger type sword.

I haven’t handled the Ringeck…they seem pretty hard to come by, I’m sure for a reason.
I used to own a green/brown VA Brighton scabbard and sword, both of them really striking…and I’ve favored that color combo ever since.

The original bundled price for this sword/scabbard limited its appeal, I get it, so they're now reduced to $1199 shipped for sword and scabbard. Ok letting them go for that amount because I've learned from each acquisition, and I'm kinda in a focusing phase now. I may consider selling the sword alone, but not sure... I also added to the original post a pic (the last one) showing the other side of the crossguard-to-blade fit. That side is much better executed than the opposite side. BUT BUYER BEWARE I cannot guarantee that the entire sword won't disintegrate into pieces if you cut with it due to the blade/crossguard gap! You've been warned! Thanks
