Jon As some of the members suggested, it might be Huawei Unokubi. I vaguely remember checking some of the stuff sold by "Cotton Tails"(something similar to that); a guy who bought swords and refitted and repolished them and resold stuff, not sure if this blade could be related to him or not. --- Anyway, the blade is extremely beautiful. The level of polish is extremely high, the hamon as you saw is extremely beautiful and is just to die for. I am not familiar with the the sword marketplace pricing, but I'm thinking of 400$ USD for a blade this beautiful is a true steal on the buyers part, tell me what you think. |

Hard to say what a fair price is, but if you look at HuaWei's current listing for their standard unokbui, it's $298 new. I was going to comment on the hamon being different, as my HuaWei unokubi has a simpler hamon, but the listing on the website now shows one very similar to yours. I don't think yours was customized by Cottontail Customs though, as his primary work is itomaki, and to my eye that wrap looks like HuaWei's work. |

The HuaWei unokubi is probably the best value on the market today imo.
especially considering how difficult it is to get a new one atm |
