Good morning I discovered a sword in Damascus in 2016. Wonderful markings, weight, length. My initial research says 1825 -1874 as marked on the back of the blade with French language narration. Guard handle has 1900 stamp, blade top/tang has a 3, reverse side has two makers stamps, two makers stamp on the scabbard at the top, again 1900 on the scabbard. Curved blade, curved scabbard, some 106cm from tip to pommel tip. Does anyone have more information? Most appreciative. I will attach photos when I can reduce the image size

From what I can see in the photos, it looks like a 3rd gen (after 1860) French 1822 light cavalry saber to me.
