Hello all,
I was doubtful if posting this in "Other weapons" or here. But being a begginer thought better here.
So I picked up this spear tipo, quite a few years ago, and recently thought of trying to get more information on it. It might be too generic to make conclusions but decided its worth a try. I know it´s british (from the seller, who had legal right to own and sell it) and was tentatively Id'd as being Celtic (that was ruled out) or Roman, being later is definitely also an option. Knowing very little of spears but seing people who know a lot about ancient and antique weapons, give me your guesses if you have them.
All the best!

Going by the size of the haft (internal diameter) it looks like a lance point

A spear is likely to have a socket diameter less than 1". A pike or lance is a larger socket, in proportion to the point.
