For sale are two hussar sabers from Historical Market, a Polish manufacturer of swords and other historical weapon reproductions. Some of their items are for display only, but the two sabers shown below are "battle ready". At one point I had asked what type of steel they used, but I no longer have that information. They are certainly carbon steel though, and have good flex to them. I've included pictures of both (though for the proof of ownership I have both sabers in a single picture)
I would place these between Cold Steels hussar saber, and something custom. These are a great mid range saber, with good decoration, and better handling and weigh that Cold Steels productions. I've owned the CS Polish Saber, and it's fine for what it is, but these are significantly nicer. They are made from steel stock though, to the best of my knowledge, not forged out by hand. The hilt decorations are also cast brass, I believe.
I will accept most forms of payment (electronic, money orders, etc... though I prefer electronic), and I ship once the payment is secured. Shipping will be free within the continental US. I will not ship these overseas. It would be cheaper for you to buy them direct from the manufacturer at that point anyways, due to the shipping I would charge vs them. PM with any questions
Blunt saber: Historical Markets price before the $50-$100 shipping is 334.85 for their blunt sabers with the options I had chosen (not high polish, patinated furniture)
My price is $SOLD.
Stats for saber:
32" blade
5" PoB
3 3/4" grip (with room)
1119 gram weight
Pictures: Blunt Saber
Sharp Saber:Historical markets price before the $50-$100 shipping is $763.30 with the options I had chosen (not high polish, patinated furniture, sharp, and with hand stitched scabbard) is $763.30.
My price is $SOLD.
Stats for saber:
32" blade
4" PoB
3 3/4" grip (with room)
1036 gram weight
