Edit : Now for sale. Asking 1100 USD + shipping. Paypal only (buyer pays the paypal fees). I know i'm asking a little bit more than the Albion retail price, but you skip the 2 years wait :) I'm selling it because I bought another sword that was in stock on the Kult of Athena website. I bought this Albion knight new from Kult of Athena in 2020. It is in mint condition. It was never used for cutting. It was only displayed on my sword rack. I kept it oiled regularly. There is no ding, rust, black spot or anything like that on the blade or on the hilt. The grip color is dark brown. This one came very well sharpened IMO. I'm located in Canada (Québec). I don't mind to ship worldwide.

I bought an Albion Knight from ggower last year, and I love it. It's very responsive in handling, and that thin type XII profile cuts beautifully; definitely worth owning for anyone wanting a crusade-era arming sword.

Yes it's a beauty :) I might miss it... But I have an Albion laird arriving soon. I have always liked the unique look of the hilt on the Laird. It will stand out in my collection. I have other crusiform hilt swords similar to the knight, so i'm letting it go.

I always preferred the more complex hiltwork of the Laird and Caithness that share the same blade, but the Knight is most people's favorite and I am told has the best handling of the three. The longer I look at pictures of it, the more it really grows on me as well. Also a heads up for those unaware. Albion is running to the end of production for the Knight. So soon enough you won't be able to get one except second hand. Same for the Crecy.

Definitely one of the pieces that will permanently stay in my collection, but I am a type XII stan. That being said, if I actually lived back in the day when these swords were relevant weapons, and I needed a sword to actually fight with, I would probably want a heftier and stiffer blade.

Exactly!!!!! Cool sword, to use for cutting competitions. But it definitely would not be my choice for actual combat. I definitely would want a stiffer beefier sword. I'm glad someone agrees. But still a pretty sword. Good luck with the sale!

I received the Laird last week. Here are a couple of pictures just to show off the Knight, the Caithness and the laird together. I agree that the Knight has the best handling between the three. It feels a little bit lighter. Although, in spite of the stats shown on the Albion website, my Caithness has a slightly narrower blade compared with the Knight and the laird. It's a very small difference but i can notice it when i handle them. Also, the leathered grip on the Caithness is shorter than on the laird (not sure if they are all made that way). I prefer the Laird's grip / hilt. Out of the three, the Laird feels a bit more robust. All in all, i think my favorite is the laird. Also, it's my first Albion sword with a red grip, and i didnt think i would like it that much. Actually, i fell in love with it! I want more red grips now :)

I want more red grips now I had a laird and a caithness before and the laird blade for me was slightly more narrow and longer. I think those are just variations that happen during the process of the blade making and sharpening. Even if two swords share the same blade. Sometimes there will be slight differences due to a lot of the handmade nature aspects. Interesting that you mention the Knight having the best handling. Seems to be the common remark of everyone who's had it. For me the caithness felt hell of a lot lighter than the other two. But I didn't dry handle the Knight enough to get a good comparison in other characteristics

Edit.
Not for sale anymore. I'll keep it.
I decided that owning three XII blades isnt too much. lol.
I'm sending it to Albion for a new blue grip!
