I present the latest addition to my collection, a custom from Sonny at Valiant Armoury. Last year I was looking for a nice arming sword and Sonny messaged me asking if I might be interested in a custom piece. I jumped on the chance and am very happy I did. The blade is a type XII similar to the one on Valiant's Irish Arming sword and Crusader, but a bit narrower. With a style J pommel and curved type 6 guard, I think this looks absolutely amazing. It feels light and nimble in the hand but still with enough presence for good cuts. Grip and scabbard are in antique green and Sonny was nice enough to do a white belt, normally not an option from Valiant. Specs: Overall Length: 37.38 inches Blade Length: 30.75 inches Blade Width: 1.64 inches Grip Length: 4.25 inches Weight: 2lbs 3oz PoB: 4.5 inches from guard

The white looks awesome. The fact that it's non-traditional to VA's offering makes it really cool in it's own right. I asked someone from Albion if they could do a white grip once, and he told me "This is a blacksmithing workshop; If I make you a white grip, it will never leave the shop (as the color white maybe grey or blackish)".

The white matching the hilt finish and contrasting the green is crazy cool.
