Sharp blades are good to have, if Shire-folk go walking, east, south, far away into dark and danger.

Saw a damascus blade of his while surfing but can't seem to find much on him here. Anybody heard of him or can vouch for the quality of his work? Damascus always makes me question the Pakistan connection...

There are at least 2 knifemakers by that name IIRC.

I just had a look around on google, found 2 additional JMs, but they seem to offer only monosteel custom hunting knives, so it's most likely not them
I have also found a few John Miller damascus knives being mentioned but no idea if it's the BGM John Miller.
There is also a dagger being sold on auction which does look like a pakistan made blade, there it says: "HANDMADE BY JOHN MILLER ( member of knifemakers guild ) what ever that helps. STAMPED ON DAMASCUS BLADE ,HANDMADE BY WORLD FAMOUS KNIFEMAKER ." and some line about him bein from the UK.

Yeah, seems a little too good to be true at the price, though Age of Chivalry does have decent weapons in stock. This is the link: Attachments:

Wow! Thanks for the link! That sinks it! It's that same sword almost exactly (certainly the hilt assembly to a tee), only someone wrote his name on there, whoever he is. I'll take a wide pass on that one!

Sorry for crushing your hopes. Having bought a few of these some time ago, they certainly look good, but functional not so much. I should have kept the money and bought something usable....
They are probably trying to ride some John Millers good name, even if we don't know who. I will have a look tomorrow, I am interested if they stole a signsture

I think we've all bought our share of wallhangers and mistakes, which is why I appreciate this group so much! If you know what questions to ask, you can be forewarned and avoid most of the junk out there. Thanks again! Guess I'll put those funds towards something else! No shortage of those!
