It looked good 2 weeks ago, 50cm/20" new snow in one day, now we have 8°C/46°F and everything is muddy. Haven't had snow on christmas in at least 15 years. There seems to be much snow on the mountains though, they are making war up there today. Detonating avalanche charges every 30min or so.
How about you, any chance for snow this year?

Central Florida is clear with lows in the upper 50’s F. Maybe white beach sand, though.

My area had a light dusting, in the wee hours of the morning, a week or so ago that was gone by sunrise. Probably won't see anything else until February or March, if at all.

It's raining on the Montana plains and foothills. Higher up there's probably snow. Last year at this time it was -30 F.
El Nino is bringing us a warmer, drier winter so far.

Sharp blades are good to have, if Shire-folk go walking, east, south, far away into dark and danger.

Central Florida is clear with lows in the upper 50’s F. Maybe white beach sand, though. Yep. Spent a few hours out at the pool today, which is heated. Water is warmer than the air though, so too chilly for me getting out... just got some sun. What were we talking about? Oh yeah, only ice around here is in my freezer. But that could change. Last year we had lows in the upper 20s for 3 days. I was watching Frozen Planet so I could feel warmer.

Either way, have a nice 24th/25th (whenever you celebrate, it's 24th here). I wish you find many bladed weapons with your gifts.

I've lived in Georgia for more than half a century and only seen a white Christmas once or twice. Won't happen this year either.

Rain turned to snow yesterday so it is a white Christmas eve in my part of Montana. It's supposed to be sunny the next 2 days.

Finally got some snow today on the last day before the kids head back to school. We're totally buried. Wish it could have started two weeks ago.

Here in Manitoba, we got a bit of snow in early December, then it stayed until Christmas. This week it's cold though! -20 celcius, about 0 F.
