I want a custom pommel for a sword (Hanwei Tinker longsword). I really like the existing balance on it, but instead of a steel pommel, I want a bronze one. Bronze (give or take) is about 10% heavier than steel. Does that seem like a significant enough addition in weight? A pommel doesn't tend to weigh that much anyway, so I'm not sure that a 10% gain would be that noticeable, but I wanted to ask the math nerds here if they had an opinion. For example: Hanwei Tinker longsword pommel is 205g1. So if you made an exact replica in bronze, it would be close to 225.25g. I don't have a scale that can measure things that accurately, otherwise I'd try taping washers or pennies to my longsword pommel to get a feel for it. Does that seem like a significant weight increase?
1This was found on Reddit. Using for example purposes only. I have no way of weighing my sword's pommel.

I have tried on a few swords that weigh 1,1-1,2kg/2,5lbs and it looks like 10g more on the pommel will lower PoB by a few millimeters, 20g lowers it by 5mm. I want to add some weight on my H/T arming sword, it's just a little too blade heavy for me.
20g might be enough on the longsword to feel, but I think it might actually feel livelier to you.

Buy some 10 - 20 g magnets and play with them. A few g on the blade base at the guard make the blade feel lighter. That made me understand why antique sabers are 8-9 mm thick there

The PoB will change, but it shouldn't be much. I would guess the estimate from mrstabby is probably close. The sword (blade) itself will also effect the change, as Andi mentioned.
You mentioned pennies, a (US) quarter is approximately 5.5 grams. Tape a couple to the pommel and see what it feels like. If you want to try out some other weights, you can look up the weight of any coin with a quick Internet search.

Nice. Thanks to all of you!

Where are you even buying bronze stock large enough to make a pommel? I've casually searched bronze now and then and the prices are out of control. It's not gold. It's like these people expect you to believe bronze is some precious metal and not just copper with a little tin added. I've wanted a bronze pommel, too, and this holds me back.
