Hello! Up for grabs is Valiant Armoury Long Leaf Blade. I am mostly interested in historical swords but this one was so unique and creative, I had to snag it as a longtime Tolkein fan. This is a hell of a sharp sword if you're considering using it for cutting. I am the original owner of this flawless blade and have only ever oiled and admired it. I'm selling because I just purchased another nice sword and need funds. If you order a new one from VA or KoA, you will be looking at a 6-12 month wait time and a price tag of $1445. I would like $1100 shipped in CONUS for this sword. Unfortunately doesn't come with a harness, so I'm asking less than full retail. Elven knife not included. Feel free to message with any questions!

This sword is absolutely amazing in handling and for those who love a good fantasy sword. It is also the most nimble longsword I've owned before that is great for getting in a lot of training without fatiguing or straining yourself because of the light weight and great POB, the grip having a good amount of length also makes it comfortable for those who aren't used to the much shorter grip lengths of euro swords compared to traditional Japanese swords.

No idea. To me it is literally the best sword in the world. I bought a used one; it was so magical that I instantly ordered a custom one and sold the used one. The weight and balance are just unreal. Everything is perfect about it. That is the one I will probably be buried with.

Sharp blades are good to have, if Shire-folk go walking, east, south, far away into dark and danger.

VA has really been putting the hurting to me since they switched to all in house made non chinese blades. Almost impossible to compete with.

Which begs the question.. when did VA switch to in house blades, and what’s the production age of this sword?

If it has the Valiant Armoury maker's mark on it, then it is part of the Craftsman line, which is VA's fully in-house line (also Vision, but that's a different maker's mark). The very earliest swords from the Craftsman line did not feature the maker's mark, but none of the swords that have outsourced blades have it.

does this sword have the VA mark? I cant see it.. It would only be on one side of the blade so maybe it's not showing that side..
