Hi im seeking a repro ( this will very liking have to be a custom i know) of a much earlier and rare tachi type ( Heian or Kamakura maybe early Nanbochuko style) With Koshi-sori- but not super pronounced-- and Moderately- strongly reverse curved/NAkago/Tsuka-- looking for what firm can make this at a hopefully resaonable or even budget price-- Main edit- this does not have to be ( and for this project Doesnt) need be be fully traditional Nihonto- so NO-- Tamahagane-- just looking for PLain Mono- steel HC blade and fairly simple Koshirae-- with saya and fittings appropriate for a general tachi who is best to approach for this as of now- JKoo, RYansword or others???- Im somewhat out of the loop as far as who would be better for these more unusual types-- anyone with helpful thoughts pleas let me know back soon Best Jon

Cloudhammer would probably be a good place to start, I've seen them do curved tsuka and they definitely like doing Tachi style blades

eBay seller culture-art-store888 has one, that's the only reproduction I've ever seen like that for sale and I don't know anything about that seller.

I've seen Ryansword do tsuka like, but it's probably best to talk to cloudhammer first lol

Both Jkoo and Wang katana 2011 make tachi. The hard part is getting the pronounced sori. The off the shelf tachi fittings might not work with that. I mean, it's kind of silly, because almost all real tachi had that curvature. But that's not what Longquan invested in, so you'll probably either have to pay for expensive custom koshirae, or just go for what's available. I'd go with the latter.
