I ordered this scabbard on October 25th 2023, and received it on December 8th 2023. I paid roughly $280 USD for the scabbard, including shipping from Slovakia to the United States.

Pros:
- Price
There are no scabbards on the market right now that come close to this price for the level of quality I received. - Production Time
6 weeks production time was excellent turnaround time.
- Build Quality
The quality of the materials is exceptional, and every stitch is even and secure. I have yet to find any flaw in the build of this scabbard. - Sword Fitment
The sword glides smoothly into the scabbard, but required a light push to go the lsat half inch. This causes a tight fit with no rattle. The scabbard can be held upside down without the sword falling out, yet it can still be easily drawn. - Communication
Tamas Varju responded in a timely manner to all of my emails, communicated clearly on price estimates and time estimates, and delivered on all of his promises.
Cons:
- Bulk
The scabbard is sligtly bulkier than it needs to be. It is not heavy, but I suspect A quarter inch of wood can have been removed from either side of the wooden core and still maintained durability. - Leather Chape
Obviously the leather chape is not ideal, but it is cleanly done and looks nice for what it is.

- Susension
The suspension system on my scabbard on my scabbard is not historical. This is my fault, I ordered the wrong model. That being said, It is a nice suspension system and fits well and holds the hilt where I want it. I am not a reeanactor, so the modern buckle and rivets are fine for me.
