Mel Brooks films are my comfort comedy films. Everyone loves Blazing Saddles and Spaceballs but I feel like Men in Tights doesn't get enough love. I admit, not all the jokes land as well as they probably could but I think a vast majority is still rock solid.
I still haven't gotten around to seeing the Producers or Young Frankenstein yet.

Python and Brooks of course. Most of the mentioned above too Lilo & Stitch Tangled Dogma (1999) The Whole Nine Yards The Ice Pirates Rammstein in Amerika (I know, but I realized it's comedy, I'm not even a big fan of the music)

Glad to see a lot of titles here. Some of them I know, some of them I don't. Thanks for all the recommendations.

In no particular order:
The Princess Bride Oscar Back to School Monty Python and the Holy Grail The Exorcist A Christmas Story Spaceballs The Addams Family
So many good comedies, it's hard to make a top "x" number list. And not all comedies land for all people. A good example of that is "Napoleon Dynamite". I love the movie, others hate it. But it's black and white, it's either the funniest movie you've ever seen, or the stupidest: there's no in-between.

Loved Napoleon Dynamite.

So many but I saw Ghostbusters when it first came out. Two friends of mine and I laughed so much. Then on the ride home we just kept repeating lines from the movie and cracking up more. My stomach hurt.
