And those price reductions often start earlier. What are your plans? Did you blow out all your ressources for Albions?
Here in Germany I expect my favorite store giving 20 % within the next week's. Tbh most of the swords available here that I wanted I have already. I'm starting to become picky. Perhaps a Windlass 1796 LC.

I have the Windlass 1796 LC, and it is great. Leaps and bounds above my Cold Steel 1796.

might grab a ronin scratch and dent tanto. buddy bought one last yr that had a rolled edge.
i just need something to train with and training with a wooden tanto/wak in obi is lamer imo. miss training with tanto in obi.
but ronin tanto is dirt cheap compared to most dulled iaito wak. might dull it
while i do want some nice tanto&wak to train with (that can be dull), sometimes for training it just doesnt matter.

Keeping an eye out for a Cold Steel Polish Saber price drop.

Does the scabbard of the Windlass 1796 have anything on the inside that protects the blade from directly contacting the scabbards steel and dulling the edge? Or is it straight up steel?

It doesn't seem like it, I got this second hand it's the exact one that alientude reviewed. My eventual plan is to take the mouth of the Scabbard off and insert thin pieces of Basswood cut to the same curve as a Scabbard maybe with some glue. But for now you have to just be careful when you're drawing it. Jon
