Forgive me if this has already been addressed. I have been having issues with the search function in the forum for awhile now. If I search katana, I will get some results. Putting in more specific information tends to get zero results even when I can see posts with the same words. For instance, I have been looking at swords by Mateusz Sulowski. I was going back in the threads to try and find some price comparisons but it comes up with zero results. That is even when I can see swords posted relatively recently by that maker. I have had the same issue searching for other specific keywords before. Am I doing something wrong? Anyone else experiencing the same thing?

There are multiple boxes where you can put in the search words. If you use the second on the left, only posts with all these words are shown, the first searches all words by themselves, the third looks dfor the exact phrase. And I mean exact. The right are the where it should search. so if you put in something on the right, it will look for the keywords only in thread titles for example. Also down left you can specify if it should show you every post it finds or only threads where the words are in. It depends where you put in the words in short. If you want to look for every instance of a phrase, l3rd left, if you want to look for any posts tthat contain specific words 2nd left. The first left is very unspecific unless you want everything. The second to the left with "show threads" works best for me. Looking for specific words in thread titles also works well.

Thank you! I’ll try some of those suggestions and see if I can get it to work. I am usually just on the mobile site and see just one search box. I’ll play around with the full website and see if I can get better results.
Thanks!

Ah, I didn't realize. Go into desktop mode, either via the browser or the button on the bottom of the page, you will see more search items this way.

Honestly I've had the best luck finding things on this forum by searching "[keywords] sbg" on Google.
There's so much on this forum its own search function struggles to keep up.

The best way to search is to not use our search. It is basic and pretty garbage. I use Google, with the "site" modifier. Example: Katana site:https://sbg-sword-forum.forums.net/ ...will return results containing that word, but only those that exist in our forums.
