Just looking for some repro tsuba, but it seems everything out of China these days is some kind of zinc alloy. Are there any companies still using steel at an affordable price? Thanks!

I've had some success on Ebay. The seller I've bought from is Samurai.bay. They come pretty rusty, but the ones I've received are authentic iron. Here's an example of one: www.ebay.com/itm/165412597676?hash=item26835befac:g:9PYAAOSwdVxiRvADI restore them carefully with a bit of magnolia charcoal, cow bone, and water. If you're going to try the charcoal bit, be careful. It's easy to remove the original black patina using the charcoal. The bone is a bit safer, but slower. Some also use a needle just for the deep pits of red rust.

Yeah eBay is one place I have looked, just worried they arent actually steel and are just alloy. That set you bought, dis you see if a magnet sticks to the tsuba?

The seller above I've bought several from, and they have all been authentic. If they look too good to be true, they probably are! But to differentiate tsuba in good condition, it's helpful to study them. Authentic iron tsuba have a different texture and range of colours than the reproductions, and you get used to the look over time after studying them.
