So I’ve bought two Ronin blades previously (the Medieval Saber and one of your entry level katanas) and am a fan of both in general. Pretty much the only thing I’m not huge on is the aesthetic/finish of the guard on the saber and most of the rest of the Euro line. To be perfectly clear, there’s absolutely nothing wrong with the design, fit, or finish of the guard; this purely a preference about aesthetics.
The impression the current guard gives (at least to me) is somebody made an admittedly clean-lined guard out of modeling clay and then alchemically transformed it to steel. There’s nothing wrong with that per se, it’s just not my favorite aesthetic. I would love to see new guards on Euro swords with crisper lines and possibly based on or at least heavily inspired by historical guard examples.
Again, I am overall very favorably impressed by the swords I own from you guys. This is just a preference/nitpick!

I’m definitely a fan of the guards on Euro models 1 and 3, just not so much for the Saber, Italian hand and a half, or 7.
