I fully intend on owning a Malatesta one day. Handled one back in July and it felt fantastically light.
Gonna be picky about the color, though. Otherwise I probably would have driven to Blade Show West to grab that red one that’s available.

VA has also been heavily teasing new Vision swords on Facebook. Sounds like we'll be seeing some in the next few weeks. Apparently the next one is a Lord of the Rings Strider-inspired sword.

Sharp blades are good to have, if Shire-folk go walking, east, south, far away into dark and danger.

Saw that...including the short and long leaf. If only I had $1500 between some couch cushions!

I saw that too. Can’t wait for the reveal. Think there’ll be at least three new models? An XVIIIb for the next Vision, the LOTR (If Strider, then maybe XVIa or XVIIIa), and a XIIa. My poor wallet.

the Exeter would be extremely tempting if I didn't have a custom XIIa nearing completion.
