I know it is a WWI Prussian Artillery Sabre. I believe an M-1873 maybe? I'm trying to identify it further based on the portrait of the Kaiser Wilhelm (II??) and the inscription "Deutschland liberalles in der welt". I also believe it has a mint error on the "ts" in Deutschland. It also bears a "ges. gesch." Trademark. I'm currently not interested in selling but would like to better understand what I have.

Is there a makers mark under the langets on the guard. This could help. Do you have the scabbard? If it is two rings, it is almost certainly pre 1906, if I recall. If only one...then some time after 1906.
Is the grip leather? Looks like it. If it is Bakelite is is definitely 1900's. If it is leather (and oddly not shagreen), I think that may mark it as an earlier piece.
Other than that....this could be from any time in Wihelm II's reign.

I can't find any marks other than the trademark. The handle is wooden as far as I can tell.

Oops. I don't have the scabbard for it unfortunately.

Handle could be hardened leather that appears like wood now.
