I told you I already have a few type XIVs. Why do you keep tempting me?

How in the world this is still here is a mystery. 1000% agree....
I think people just don't have experience with how beautiful Maciej's work is (both the finely tuned swords and the scabbards)... And all strictly based on authentic historical techniques, designs, and examples. He also does medieval fencing so he has a lot of practical experience with how they should handle and how to tune them. It's sort of like getting a car that was hand-made by Enzo Ferrari...
I would grab this one in a heartbeat if I didn't already have one similar to it. I saw this one a few years ago on Maciej's gallery site and really liked it so I commissioned one. Cost quite a bit more than this one is selling for! Mine is a little lighter, a little more balanced toward the guard, of course different scabbard and fittings:
I can't speak for the one being sold here, but mine floats in the hand. It sort of looks like a thrust-oriented sword, but it really isn't. It is relatively thin and has a massive cutting feel to it (almost like a mini XVIIIc).
Crazy that this is still available at this price.

It is a good price indeed. Had I not had 2 Kopciuch's already, I'd have been sorely tempted.

Price drop to 1850 temporarily because I want to move things along faster. But can't afford to go any lower than that.

Double fuller and diamond cross section at the tip? Thats XIV perfection, hard to pick between XIV or XV as a favorite arming sword type but we love the wide bois.
This is a beautiful one and Maciej does amazing work so whoever gets it will indeed be happy, amazing price too.
