It's not that easy to make a dagger like that, but in my opinion, the bronze isn't right. Most bronze age bronze was 10-12%. This is what 11% bronze looks like: But you would have to talk to a museum curator to be sure. If it's a fake, it was very cleverly made, probably buried in the ground to get that aging. California is pretty far from bronze age europe, where daggers like that were made and buried!

Also, the edges aren't right, they should be hammered to work harden them, and they would have at least been shaped by the smith. Yours look freshly cast.
