New early viking/late Vendel style of spear. Sort of. It's really just a generic leaf blade put onto a 7 foot shaft. Purists will note that historically they did not use screws to hold the spearhead on the shaft, but I think it's sufficiently not noticeable for now. I mean if I really wanted to be accurate I would have to get hand forged nails or pins. And using two tiny screws made this much easier than trying to use a nail (I did use a nail, with limited success). We just moved, and so the neighbors walking by got to see me out there carving up the end of a spear shaft. (The shaft needed to be thinned a bit to get the head on).

It's a cheap Deepeeka, but for a spearhead, it works, and it has close to the right dimensions.

That's a handsome spear. Are you planning on adding carving etc?

That's a handsome spear. Are you planning on adding carving etc? I might, but I might leave it as is for now. I'm not a particularly good carver.
