Hello, I was corresponding with another member about the handful of Michael Tinker Pearce custom swords we each had, and he mentioned he'd like to see mine. Since I haven't signed up with a pic hosting service yet, I figured it would be quicker to attach some pics here rather than link them in a PM. So here are the MTP custom swords I've been able to acquire so far, left to right: 1. MTP custom "Bastard Sword" I recently bought from a member here, no maker's mark (so circa 2005-8 maybe?), removable threaded pommel. 2. MTP custom "Lightweight Medieval Longsword" I bought from KoA, arrow maker's mark, fixed (epoxied) threaded pommel. 3. MTP custom "Arming Sword" I bought from Brady at AoC, arrow maker's mark, removable threaded pommel. 4. MTP custom "Arming Sword" I bought from KoA, arrow maker's mark, fixed (epoxied) threaded pommel, I removed the green leather handle wrap, so those smudges are remaining glue spots. Just thought I'd share, and I'm happy to discuss/describe more if anyone is interested, but disclaimer follows: I have no HEMA background, been collecting swords as a novice/hobbyist for just a couple years, practiced FMA/eskrima throughout high school and college but not lately, haven't started tatami cutting yet, but as a US Marine Corps officer for past 28 years and counting, I feel I have a pretty good sense for practical tools and weapons, albeit more along the lines of utility knives, bayonets, and firearms. Cheers. S/F SDJohn

nice collection The only real MTP sword I have is the "modern sabre" I bought through the classifieds here (arrow maker's mark).

Thanks pellius, I’ve been fortunate to snag these as they’ve popped up here and there.
