awesome, I had a senlac before. One of my favorite sword blade designs. The Norman and Senlac share the same blade. Always wondered how the Norman feels in the hand by comparison.

The Senlac and Norman are the same base blade and pommel with different guards. The handling will be nearly identical with the same variation you get from multiple of the same model.
With that said, I'm mad I don't have the funds for this. It's a great price for an excellent blade. GLWS!

But I think that makes sense overall, maybe the data online isnt fully accurate. Yeah this is a great sword to own. And a nice scabbard on top. Price is good too for the combination

Idk why people say these blades feel hefty and authoritative. I recently had a knud, I believe it has the same blade as the senlac/norman and it felt light and lively.

I feel like its pretty tip heavy and hefty compared to some of my other Albion single hand swords or other arming swords. They were primarily used on horseback and with a big shield after all. But that isn't a bad thing by any means and the Senlac wasn't the heaviest single hand sword ive used either. I would say the Templar, Tritonia , and St Maurice are all much more hefty and tip heavy than the Senlac. The senlac feels like a middle ground between light and agile arming swords, and the most heavy examples of high medieval swords I have handled.

I'd say the knud felt about on par with the Vigil and Knight. But while the handling of the knight and Vigil felt identical to me, the Knud was slightly different in ways I can't quite describe.

I have a Albion Norman, Prince and Reeve. The Norman is by far the most nimble feeling. Mine exhibits no front heavy balance. It is a wonderful sword. Mine also has a Tod Cutler scabbard. Tod's stuff is top notch and period correct. Good luck on the sale. Someone will get a really nice sword. Sorry that you have to let her go.

I am utterly shocked this hasn't sold. You're basically paying new price for an Albion Norman, and only $220 for a Tod's Workshop scabbard - something that would normally cost you $500-$700. Outstanding deal here. If Combat Con wasn't this week, I'd be looking for ways to buy it.
