The Sword of Guy De Lusignan (Actually The Sword of Tiberias in the Film)
The Sword of Odo
Sword of Ibelin (Supposedly a Marto Produced Version out of license [Below])
A good deal of confusion for me with the Ibelin. I already have two older Windlass Ibelin Swords. Of note, the dye on the handle is noticeably darker, however, more screen accurate after re-watching the film. The collar underneath the pommel is slightly taller than the originals as well, and the leather on the handle not weathered/distressed. I will say the handle is hollowed for the tang FAR BETTER than the original Windlass swords were. The blade also lacks the older clear coat the originals sport and simply has a mirror polish, not a fan. For the most part though they're identical so... my best guess the original tooling and specs are at play on this current (2022/2023) Sword of Ibelin. TheKnightShop assured me they were supplied directly from Marto. Windlass assured me the licensing has long since expired and that they (Windlass) are not making them. Museum Replicas has said that it is not a Windlass item, however when they asked for pictures. They told me they would, "send them to Mr. Windlass." So who really knows what they know on the stateside end of things. I reached out to Marto only to receive, well, nothing. I later reached out to a well know figure for designing replicas, and was told it isn't uncommon for unsold merch to be stripped of licensing materials (Box sleeves, certificates of authenticity, markings, etc) to clear out and avoid paying royalties. Which, this Ibelin sword lacked all those things. Just a standard cardboard box. So my best guess for now, is it is the most official, unofficial, Sword of Ibelin lol.
Anyway, I digress, The Sword of Odo was new/old stock (Still Available) from Southern Swords. Though I noticed they added another 50 to the price tag after I bought one. At the time it only ran me $138 USD without shipping, and the Sword of Guy (Tiberias) was surprisingly won on eBay at only $157.00. I expected it to go much higher. Chalk it up to luck just like the Tiberias (Guy) Scabbard I won for $52.25 last year. Unfortunately the eBay seller didn't list that the clear coat on the blade had some cracks in it but at this price its fine I think. Its just one side, and for an 18 year old sword the condition good enough. The brass on the Odo Sword required some attention upon arrival but cleaned up nicely. Welcome additions to the collection since all I had up until now were the 2 Ibelin swords, Ibelin surcoat, Ibelin shield, and Tiberias gambeson.
Also not shown, the older Windlass 12th Century Warhammer seen in the film (used to brain "The Son of Roger de Cormier.") I caught for $80 which I thought was fair after pricing current Windlass Hammers.
Thanks for reading/viewing and I'll update as I go.
