Let's be honest, the secondary market for swords is ...uh...I'll just call it slow. So before I start doing pics and descriptions I thought I'd see if anyone is even interested. I am considering selling a functional replica of the raider sword from Sword of the Berserk. The sword was made in Nepal and heat treated in the U.S. It's about 65 inches long and 12lbs. It's built very well and has an edge, and comes with a scabbard. I'd be asking around $1k plus shipping. I doubt anyone here will be interested as the fantasy sword market is basically gone, but if you are send me a pm

If I had a thousand+ to spare and lived in the US, I would definitely consider getting my hands on this thing. Love fantasy stuff!
Do you know what steel is it made of and where is the balance point though?

It was heat treated by Charles Jones (Charles Jones Blades) and he said it's probably 6150. Don't know the p.o.b. but if you're interested I'll go measure it.

Wow, that's a beast, 12 freaking pounds?! I know it's a giant oversized fantasy anime sword but damn... 12 pounds is nothing compared to most giant anime and video game swords made of real steel. At least for the relative size, I'm surprised it's not like 25 pounds or more
