Shinsakuto tanto - Showa era, beautiful blade, has a suguha hamon with interesting cloudy activity above the habuchi. Not quite hitatsuru as it doesn't have formed nioi but definitely some hardening activity. Signed Morishige, whose original name is Kumatani Katsuji. Could find very little information on this smith online.

25.5cm long nagasa, 2.45cm wide at the habaki. Solid silver habaki. Saya has a small sliver of wood missing. In very clean shape, decent candidate to turn to a full saya because of the damage.

Blade has some minor scratches but not bad. Asking $1100 shipped.

I'll do $1100 on the katana, $900 on the tanto, $1900 for both shipped together.

Fantastic prices for each, I guess the market is a bit slow or maybe people just don't care for my work anymore.
