This sword was made in Japan traditionally.
it is a contemporary katana.
I was made for tameshigiri or cutting mats and bamboo trunks.
It is very strong and well made.
There is lots of activity in the bold suguha hamon that has a glow to it.
The fittings resemble old Higo style with the water dragons on them.
The cheap price is due to the fact that I can't get the tsuka off the blade.
I've tried pretty hard but it doesn't want to budge.
If you are looking to not pay so much for a mega sharp katana as a cutter or for training Iaido this is the sword for you.
Nagasa is 28 inches
full length is 41 inches
Bag included
asking $430 US shipped.
You can't go wrong for a traditionally made blade for that price.
It would be good for someone who doesn't want to wear out their other more important blades.
If the post is up it's available.
NO trades.
Thanks again
