All sold.
I have several swords sent to me as review samples that I am listing for sale to clear up some room in the house. These are all low cost swords with the typical flaws associated with the low price. For the most part, I think they're okay enough as beaters or projects, but they're not particularly high quality and all have flaws.
I accept Zelle (preferred) and Paypal F&F. Shipping is not included in these prices.
Bundle them all together for only $100 (plus shipping)!
Romance of Men Yurei Jigoku - $65
Sells new for $150. Unokubi zukuri, through-hardened, spring steel. Ito is a little looser than I would like, but not terrible. Kashira is pretty loose. Cuts very well - water bottles, pool noodles, and tatami. I tested edge retention by whacking it into a 2x4 about 100 times. It lost a little bit of sharpness, but not a lot - still an effective cutter. Fun sword, and not particularly easy to find an unokubi zukuri for this low of a price.

Fidestisan katana - $50
Sells new for $195 from Fidestisan (sometimes marked down to $148, like it is currently), or $178 on Amazon. Spring steel, through hardened, shinogi zukuri. Excellent cutter on water bottles (the only target I was able to do). Ito wrap does not alternate. Fuchi was very loose but has been shimmed with cotton paper and is tight. Since review, the kashira has developed a small amount of wiggle, as has the blade side seppa. Probably needs either another seppa, a thicker seppa, or simply reassembled somewhat better.

Fidestisan tactical wakizashi/ninja-to - $30
Sells new for $158 (currently marked down to $138). Blackened blade, fake hamon, through-hardened. Kind of a silly tactical take on a wakizashi and ninja-to. Ito wrap is poor, habaki fit is terrible - they used epoxy as filler to make it fit. Edge took some small damage from cutting tatami - check out the photo gallery and review to see it. Could potentially make for a fun project, but honestly it needs a lot of work to get it there.
