I got two I can think of off the top of my head. The first is from my old battle axe. This happened like over 10 years ago. Broke it out when some family friends were over to slice some pumpkins. Well, one friend's boyfriend couldn't wait apparently while I went to get some old logs to put the pumpkins on and chopped it while it was still on the concrete driveway. I was a little annoyed but it wasent that bad, so whatever. Second one is my CS Polish Saber. . Chipped the blade the day I got it. Went to cut a milk jug I put on an old homemade grilling table and botched the cut. I think the weight threw me off a tad and the blade cut into the table where a nail chipped the blade. Not terribly big but still noticeable.

Sorry, I have nothing to add to your thread. I started to but then saw it was under Medieval Swords. You might get more response under General Discussions. Nothing to report with my medieval swords as far as edge damage.
As for mistakes, I had to look that one up as I did not know the meaning of the word. Nothing to report there either. 😉
