For sale is a KC bastard sword. It was purchased from KoA probably close to 10 years ago. Everything is tight. No gaps but doesn't quite ring. The blueing has been removed, but the pommel is darker. Some light pitting on the mid rib near the tip, pictured. Looking for $250 CONUS only please.

Hello
I am supposed to be reducing my weapon horde and not purchasing a big sword. However your Bastard sword caught my eye. I remember when these were released. May I ask what do you mean when you say it does not ring? I have had good luck purchasing a few second hand swords here on SBG. But one time someone sent a good sword in a flimsy package and the nice leather wood scabbard and sword handle were badly damaged. Would you include strong packaging? Are you shipping United Parcel Service or United States Postal Service?
Salute
David

I purchased a Katana recently from David and the packaging was excellent. The sword was exactly as described also. Great seller imo Patrick

My plan is to pack it securely, well oiled with some form of hard plastic protection on the blade tip and quillon ends to attempt to mitigate the possibility of it breaking through the box. Since the sheath is just leather, it will not be shipped well oiled inside of it. When I say it doesn't ring... some swords if you flick the crossguard there is a distinct, high-pitched ring. This is more dull sounding but there are no hints of any looseness or rattling.

How much does it weigh?

Weighed using a luggage scale by hanging it in the sheath, weighing the sheath plus sword, then subtracting the weight of the only the sheath. 3 pounds 6.88 ounces pob is right around 3 inches

This one sold yet? That sheath is horrendous but the sword looks decent...

I might have an actual scabbard that would fit it, it's about 2 1/8 wide at the throat and I think over 35 long...

I can't find any statistics for this sword. How long is it overall? How long is the blade?
