Do not buy swords much anymore (have plenty) but these were the last couple that came from Albion. A Warwick and a Sheriff. Sold my Crecy and replaced with the Warwick.

What are your impressions of the Warwick? Reminds me a lot of the Crecy but longer blade and grip. It is a fast and nimble sword though even with the additional length.

Nice. What are your impressions of the Warwick? Reminds me a lot of the Crecy but longer blade and grip. It is a fast and nimble sword though even with the additional length. That's interesting, and it makes me question what I heard/read previously from another purchaser of the Warwick. I was under the impression that the blade was noticeably stouter than the Crecy's, and that it wasn't nearly as nimble in motion. Your assessment certainly carry's weight with me (you've earned it), and rekindles my interest in possibly picking one up. I do have a type XVIa shaped hole in my collection, and nature abhors a vacuum.

I do have a type XVIa shaped hole in my collection, and nature abhors a vacuum. It is light and nimble compared to a war sword like the Baron. The hilt seems to have most of the weight while the blade type narrows all the way to the tip. Longer hilt and slenderer blade towards the tip makes it feel very easy to move.

TGIF and new swords day! The pair of swords I ordered from PesereyHandicrafts came in today and I couldn't be happier. Ottoman shamshir and Mameluke sword. Just some quick impressions. The shamshir is so light and nimble. Very similar feel to my LK Chen shamshir. My hand fits just right and snug in the handle. The Mameluke sword is a different beast altogether. This one is forward heavy with a thick spine that doesn't really taper until close to the tip. Definitely seems like a chopper of a sword to me. My hand also fits perfectly between the quillons and... beak? I'll call it a beak. Additionally, scabbards for both swords are nice and tight with no rattle. Speaking of, the only real negative is that the scabbard for the Mameluke got damaged a little bit somehow. I don't know if it was me when I was unwrapping it, the shipper or if it was sent like that by accident. The good thing is that it's on the back of the scabbard and not very large. I don't think it's anything a bit of adhesive and a little polish can't fix up so I'm not that upset over it. I'm quite a happy camper right now.

Windlass Steelcrafts Langeid Viking Sword. Better than the usual Windlass. But, still a Windlas.
Next to Albion Valkyrja for size comparison.

I was going to put 2 swords on order with Albion before the price hike but decided against it at the last minute. Thought some other opportunity might pop up and about two weeks later it did! Finally got myself a crossbow from Tod's Workshop! Been eyeing one of these for about two years now. My relatives at our early Thanksgiving this weekend loved it. My coworkers think "God help us, he has a crossbow now."

There was mention of more info and such so just waiting.

considering all of the recent discussions, people are probably waiting to see if you actually get anything from In'Carius and don't get shafted like so many other members here
