I always liked The Albion Ringneck despite the blade type not being my typical taste. Grabbed this when it was available on KOA. Now I really want to redye to black and get a wire wrap for it, maybe darken the furnishing as well.

I wanted to get myself the Iberian Mace from A&A but it was sold out on their website. Fortunately KOA had one available for shipping and, while I was at it, I went ahead and got the A&A Type M Danish axe they had as well. Strike while the iron is hot and all that.

I own that mace as well (well kinda, because I purchased the head without the haft, and used it as part of my murder cane), and really like it.

Albion Crecy with blackened hilt and green wrap. I actually wanted a more vibrant green, but the more I look at this sword the more I like it. This darker color just seems very appropriate for the Crecy. As always, worth the wait from Albion (even though this one was over 19 months!). I've always been extremely impressed with how good the Albion Mercenary feels in either one hand or two, and I think I feel the exact same about the Crecy. A true "bastard sword". It handles like a dream!

Probably top 3 of any I've dry handled for longswords. But it seems the Mercenary avoids that issue with the other pommel style

I have very large hands (XL gloves and 12W or 13W shoes for reference), and the Crecy just feels right. Yeah, my hands are locked together unless I grip the pommel, but either way it feels wonderful. The Mercenary does offer a bit more real estate with the scent stopper pommel, though. Here are some pictures next to my Mercenary, and also a picture next to a Ringeck and Alexandria for comparison.

Beautiful Crecy, and it makes a great pair with the Mercenary.

Been considering a Crecy for a bit myself. My birthday is next month so I may put an order in for that and a Burgundian soon.

FYI, Mike told me back in February that the Crecy is nearing the end of its production, so don't procrastinate too long!

Thanks for the heads up alientude. Guess I'll take care of that sooner rather than later.

Yeah, it's why I placed an order for a Crecy later that month! He also said the Knight is getting close as well.
Of course, I have no clue what "close" means. 900/1000? 975/1000? Who knows!

Wow, didn't expect to hear that. Haven't heard of too many swords going out of production beyond a handful of the limited to 100 production piece ones, I might have to grav a knight soon too lol I wonder if they will create other swords soon with the same blade type since Albion tends to make quite a few using the same typology.

Yeah it's definitely not a huge barrier to use, just something you have to adjust for holding the pommel for a lot of movements and etc. My hands are quite large as well, it's just different than handling swords with different pommel styles or longer handle like my atrims. Something to adjust for but definitely not a big issue. People have the same reservations when comparing the Principe to the Alexandria too, so interesting to share that. Personally I much prefer the aesthetic of the Alexandria despite owning the principe lol
