Lovely. I always like it when an axe head is left partially rough like that. Just gives it a bit of character to me.

My new sanmai damascus Suiryuken replica from Cloudhammer Forge. Based on a Tang Dynasty chokuto in Japan's National Museum in tachi-esque koshirae.

The whole package looks stellar but I'm drooling over the design of the tunkou/habaki. Amazing!

I got my Black Friday loot from Tod Cutler today. Awesome! I love how my landsknecht dagger feels in the hand. The Wallace rondel looks super snazzy as well.

Surprised how good the ito looks on that. Wish they would stop etching the hamon

Very nice. I have the squire line clontarf and love it. Which of these two do you prefer in terms of handling?

Very nice. I have the squire line clontarf and love it. Which of these two do you prefer in terms of handling? The Jarl is a bit more nimble and quick. The Huskarl is more of a heavy hitter. Both are fairly easy to control. I like them both for what they are.

That is a fantastic piece you got there, skelley. Congrats on that bombshell of a dagger.
