Nice! That weight and distal taper seems pretty good.

Here is the two first pairs ever, 2 antique silver and 2 natural silver. Nice! Look forward to seeing them in place once your sword arrives.

Aesthetically speaking, I think the Gotland is my favorite of the lot. A very fine addition!

Very cool. I am just wondering, if you care to share and if not I understand, how much a custom ring like that would cost.

The Albion Steward I sold helped fund this beauty. I almost bought it on these forums last year, but missed it by a couple hours. Now it's finally mine!

That's a work of art there. Looks like that sword has it's own spirit and mythical powers to go with it. I'd take that into the grave with me. Congrats!

LK Chen Wo Yao Dao came in from KOA today. Very happy to have it in the collection. It has a tad bit of heft but not by an excessive amount. The olive green wrap on the canted grip is a different material form the Yan Ling Dao I have and doesn't allow for easy slipping of the hands. Maybe suede? My only two critiques right now are purely cosmetic. I would have preferred a dark color for the wood under the wrap and the 'hibaki' (Sorry, I don't know the Chinese equivalent) came somewhat scuffed up. Great piece

The new Dao looks really good. Might have to consider one in the future. KoA says the wrap is suede, so that agrees with your statement above.
How does the genuine mock leather on the scabbard look? That was a bit of a turn off in the KoA description, but I could always replace it with real leather later.
