Strange. Says they're from Pennsylvania but uses Euro. It did come from Pennsylvania as the tracking showed. And US dollars were used. Weird if that is what you are seeing. Maybe Etsy has your funds set to Euros.

Been a hot minute, but another beautiful piece added to my collection. Review and better photos in the collection thread to come later. A beautiful hand and a half / war sword from Thomas Yeudall: The central ridge detail is something I've not seen before and seems to be pretty cool.

Nice sword @verity! Looks Witcher themed. That central ridge has been seen historically on a few Type Xa swords like this one, myarmoury.com/images/features/pic_spotx09.jpgI like the termination too and it's cool to see it being more transitional and on a long sword, love the pommel too!

trying to wrap my head around that central ridge picture, and I'm not sure what I'm seeing.
Looks like near the guard the blade is "normal", and then down the length the presumed distal taper is normal but the central ridge does not taper?

trying to wrap my head around that central ridge picture, and I'm not sure what I'm seeing. Looks like near the guard the blade is "normal", and then down the length the presumed distal taper is normal but the central ridge does not taper? It also tapers but not as much as the edge bevel. So it's adding some thickness and firmness to the center of the blade while still allowing quite a bit of taper to pull down weight and push balance back by removing mass. The sword is balanced BEAUTIFULLY tho it is on the heavier side. (3.6 or so lbs). To answer specifically to distal (comparing to other war swords of mine). It appears the blade begins a bit thicker overal (full 1/4") and the distal is fairly aggressive (but "normal" in surface effect). At about the halfway point the edge bevel and central ridge distals diverge with the edge bevel distal being more aggressive than the central ridge one. Overall despite it's massive size (36" blade that is 2" wide at the guard and a full 1/4" thick at the guard), the overall sword is around 3.6lb with a balance at 2.5" from the guard.

Very nice Not being an axe guy, I’ve never seen a pattern welded axe blade edge. That looks amazing.

That axe head is without a doubt beautiful but I just love the carved sheath it has as well as the rich color of the haft. Outstanding!
