Congrats, I still love mine. The Marto Atlantean scabbard matches btw. Disassemble it and you'll know why I trust the unusual construction (except the pommel falling off and hitting your toe). ((The inscription reads: "GROW STRONGER")) Wow, even though I already replied, I just got the 13th Warrior reference! Yep I'm blonde, lol!

I’m not really into axes, but that display is very impressive. Nice!

I picked up a Albion Medium Dane Axe from eBay, and have now got it hafted and mounted with the others. I have been interested in this axe for some time, so am pleased to finally add it to the collection. I love mine! Glad it went to someone who will appreciate it.

White box arrived with sword inside - Albion Knight. Originally ordered blackened hilt with oxblood grip but called a few months back, spoke to Mike, and changed to all-black. Currently in queue for a C. Fletcher scabbard which will also be black. When sword mates to scabbard it shall be called Nocturnal. I had to clean up a bit of a smudge on the blade which took all of two minutes. The blackening is not uniform and actually not what I expected, having a blued A&A piece. Now that I've paid closer attention to pictures of other Albion-blackened furniture, this appears consistent with other applications -- am curious to others thoughts about this?

Pretty sure it used to be called the Sword of Orleans in the MRL catalog and was their header sword on the old website. It looks to be basically the Classic Medieval Sword without a fuller. The orginal its based on was a ceremonial/bearing sword if I remember right.

Yeah its the orleans sword, it is not the most nimble but handles decently especially for a windlass

FYI..Albion uses a cold bluing treatment on "blackened furniture".
