Sick! Almost vampire bat style winged quillions there Eric. I thought you'd like that look, I'll join the lodge with this rapier at my side to take out vampires.

Albion Gaddhjalt with Campaign Brown grip and blackened furniture.
This is a major WIN...great choice for color combinations....that darkened furniture looks great with the lighter tan grip.

I LOVE the aesthetics of that pommel style. Would be interested in hearing feedback on if their are any issues with it biting into your hand or not (I suspect a review is forthcoming). Likely you wouldn't grip it like a scent stopper. I'm more curious about how the protruding center interacts with hands/wrists.

I'll definitely be doing a review of the sword at some point - probably a couple months out at this point, though.

I'm not alientude, and haven't handled his sword (and have never created a review as nice as as his!), but I have a similar incarius with a similar pommel. I suspect the pommel on mine is smaller as it's an overall smaller sword, and is octagonal rather than 10 sided (decagonal?). FWIW, I find it very comfy when the offhand is in that mostly-on-the-grip-but-partly-on-the-pommel position. the curves between the outer octagon and the inner protruding center sort of cup the heel of the hand in a comfy, secure way (but do limit how far down the pommel you can place that hand). Definitely not as comfy for gripping directly as a scent stopper.
