Dig it, Brother Nathaniel. That looks really good. I too recently got an "all out" katana from JKoo. I'm terrible with pictures, but its a Christmas colors sword. I'm really happy with mine. Hope you get a kick out of yours, too.

I would love to read your thoughts on the Reeve. It's a sword I have some interest in.

I'm really liking it. It's lighter and more agile than I was expecting, and aesthetically I like how the brazil nut pommel is very different from the rest of my collection. My edge alignment and form is dreadful with single hand swords, so my test cutting results were poor. That's 100% my fault and not the sword's.

You say it's lighter and more agile than you expected, but would you consider it an objectively light and agile sword, or only those things based on initial expectations?

It's probably more my expectations than anything else. Comparing it to my other one handers, I'd say it's just about on par in agility with the ATrim XII. The ATrim might be just a touch lighter and more agile, but not much. My Valiant Armoury Hardwick is easily the lightest and most agile one hander I own, and the Arms & Armor Oakeshott Sword is solidly in the middle.
This is one of the reasons I decided to try to complete a collection of all Oakeshott type swords - to figure out my favorites.

Passau Longsword by Maciej Kopciuch(From ArtofSwordmaking's site) Measurements:total length 1145mm blade length 895mm blade width 53mm blade thickness at the base 5mm grip 191mm crossguard 192mm pommel 52x21mm balance 70mm weight 1310g edges sharp When he says it is an agile sword...oh man, just in term of handling, my other swords are all blown away. (and among them, the Ryujin Silver Jian and even the Brandenburg Rapier...) The only caveat is the round pommel that I feel a bit uncomfortable but I just may be the incompetent one. xD

Firstly, cool Atlantean by Ryansword. Glad someone posted that.
Second, time to close the thread. Saw the Peter Johnsson over on FB. Absolutely incredible, Storm. On one hand, this seems like it would be the one sword you'd never sell. On the other hand, I hope you sell it so I can see what this thing might cost second (or third?) hand.
