The Hjalmar Viking Sword I bought is… Absolutely incredible. The smithing behind its beauty has the skill and pride that’s been poured into it. The 5160 tempered carbon steel holds an edge. Has an amazing flexibility in the blade. Well balanced to where you don’t feel any vibrations in the handle and with great control. And with the handle it’s greatly constructed. Very solid, after many obstacle sharpness tests. Nothing has came loose, furthermore I applied waterproof rubber tape for grip that doesn’t have glue film but yet sticks as if it does. Great handling. Also the scabbard is very well crafted and solid. Out of the box the blade will have coats of grease for shipping do to moister that could occur. Easy to wash off. The edge out of the box is decently sharp so be careful. My respects to the smith behind this amazing piece. Well worth the price.
