Hey all, I got another sword up for sale here. It's a Windlass Celtic Sword titled The Eagle. These are discontinued and they don't make them anymore. I got it 2nd hand a while back and never used it, it's just been on display. The blade is sharpened and they did a pretty good job on it, definitely sharp. The handle is the one thing I don't like about it because it's all metal, but it's still very pretty. It's also peened on the bottom of the handle, and the sword itself has this finish over it to make it look antiqued maybe. Has the makers inscription on it as many of them have. The leather sheath is ok, it doesn't hold the sword very well but it fits the aesthetic of it.
From the maker: This weapon of choice for the fierce Celtic warrior was meticulously made from the actual prop seen in the Focus Features Roman epic The Eagle. The solid anthropomorphic metal handle is characteristic of this proud race. The custom blade is made from hand forged, tempered high carbon steel. Every part is antiqued just like the movie version; it replicates every detail. Includes genuine leather scabbard.
