Does anyone know where I could get dual Dao broadswords similar to in avatar the last Airbender? I know Ryan swords makes one and swords of the north shire sell a version but its a little out of my price range.

He's talking about a pair of fantasy daos a character named Prince Zuko dual wields in an anime TV and comic series called Avatar: The Last Airbender. All I know about it is what a DuckDuckGo search turned up. Nothing to do with the Avatar sci-fi movie franchise.

If your talking about Zukos swords, the closest inspiration for them are Oxtail Dao or Niu Wei. LK chen makes a few Dao close to them, but the exact design is harder to findThat being said if you want a good sword I'd highly recommend just buying these LK chen swords over the cheap costume blades you found lol, theyll most likely look and feel nicer anyway.
Theres also this Da Dao if you really want a flat guard so you can hold them like he does
If you want Sokas sword, its literally just a hanjian with a black blade lol. again, Id recommend picking up a real folded hanjian from Lk chen or cloud hammer than any of those cheap coated blades on ebay. |

If you're serious about having exact replicas of Zuko's swords, there's a few names I can give you of people who could make it custom, but it will be very expensive lol. You're probably better of buying any of the swords above.

If it were me, I would buy two of the LK Chen Niu Wei Daos, modify the guards and build them a custom scabbard. There may be someone who can do that for you as well.

Cloudhammer
both are chinese forges who take on custom work. Id probably recommend Fire and Iron since CH seems to be focusing on Katana right now, however in either case both will probably cost you in the $1000+ range. tell them you want a pair of shuang dao and send them some historical photos from above and some clear shots from the show to specify what you want. You will probably have to decide on the styles I listed in my first post as the show is a little inconsistent with how these swords are shaped from episode to episode
