Could you elaborate on the damage to your sword?

Could you elaborate on the damage to your sword? The edge plane near the apex has become bumpy, kinda rolled slightly. You can notice the light reflection on the edge plane ain't uniform at 3 spots. My remote student's sword also suffered slight edge roll when he cut the wooden stake of the cutting stand. These chinese made swords do not have the hardness to hold our geometry.

I'll bid you guys farewell by leaving a final post here, Japanese 伯耆流 test cut, in what-so-called "baseball cuts".

I'll bid you guys farewell by leaving a final post here, Japanese 伯耆流 test cut, in what-so-called "baseball cuts". He is not deeply dipping his shoulder and twisting his entire upper body at the waist into the target. he is not swinging his arms/hands across his chest, moving his sword all the way around to the side away from the target. He is upright and has a stable stance the entire time and his sword is always in front of him, never significantly to his side; I was taught to always keep the blade between you and your enemy. Your student looks like he swung/batted so hard at that target he almost lost his grip/balance at the end of many of his cuts. I am not trying to be mean, I am just commenting on what I see. I assume that is why you post these videos here...for commentary on technique or are you just seeking complements? Its cool that you are designing your own swords and clearly cutting the targets successfully.

I do enjoy the video clips you make Lance, but it doesnt appear you self-critique like in the past. I think a fair observation from Newport, though i don't even do any cutting. The video you linked doesn't show any baseball cuts: it shows proper edge alignment. The katana moves after it is through the target. The tatami cuts looks pretty good.
Your video in slow-mo shows a diagonal cut downward. It strikes horizontal and deflects/cleaves diagonally upward. It deflects so high that it cuts the second roll higher than the first roll. If we inspected the roll afterwards most people would assumed you cut from below and upward.
I don't think we can blame the sword on this one^ (there is a big difference between your cut at 26 vs 34 sec mark)
