Sharp blades are good to have, if Shire-folk go walking, east, south, far away into dark and danger.

Ok, I was on Facebook and ran across this. Very little info is given on it on the website and a Google search turned up nothing. SO, what is it, is it worth what they're asking, and someone please talk me out of it! It looks almost too clean and pristine to be that old. en.militarycollectables.online/product-page/sv-huggare-m-1747-56-1

I’ve bought several items from them over the years. They have always delivered the item advertised promptly and reliably.
Their prices tend to be pretty good. Their swords and knives tend to be what I would respectfully describe as second tier antiques.
The pieces are usually in very decent but used condition. They generally have some aspect that justifies the reduced price, such as missing the scabbard, slightly distorted guards, or missing decorative items (such as a scabbard chape or shrunken leather scabbard). Overall, though, their swords were solid and genuine.
All the swords I bought from them over the years were a bit below market price even for less than show piece items. I found them to be a nice way to get hands-on experience with less common swords at a very reasonable cost.
As far as your particular item, I unfortunately have no information to offer.

Looks to me like a musicians type cutlass from french/indian war time period.
