Please keep at the Chinese swords, Cloudhammer. jckang this is really something else. Financially irresponsible, but yolo.

That's a fancy dao. Not sure how I feel about...any of it, really, but my own aesthetic tastes aside, it's certainly got a lot going for it.

Heh, Cloudhammer makes many Chinese swords, with a specialty in Han Jian. But yeah, this one is one of my favorites!

The Han jian you supply is pretty cool, especially the radiant folding in the inner portion of the blade. Also like how there is a 'copper' tint to the fittings. Now, just show me some cool cuts with the thing. The kind that'd wreck a Huano or LK Cheng piece. That'd be fun. Yeah, I like bruiser swords that can take a beating...lol

Here they are, cutting with a more plain 51crv4:

Sweet! Thanks for the share. I really dig how this model was a wider blade profile, it looks like a very interesting contrast to my Soaring Sky by LK Chen. I'll have to give one a whirl sometime, do you get batches of the Han jian periodically? I noticed on your website there's only the one Han jian with the nice pattern welded blade.

We have several Han Jian at the Asia warehouse, both in functional Damascus and also through-hardened steels like sx105v and s5. I just added them to the website.

Sharp blades are good to have, if Shire-folk go walking, east, south, far away into dark and danger.

I need to check and see if we still have it in stock. I have a dull one for practice, and it's short and somewhat heavy. Aikidoka did some impressive cuts with it
