It's a cool piece for sure. I'm leaning towards a reproduction, because it looks a little too fancy and it's in really good shape, but it looks like a nice one. Hopefully someone more knowledgeable will chime in, because I may well be wrong. Great sword regardless!

I’m just starting off, this is one of the first non-toy swords I’ve bought; I’m really eager to get a Raube Langes Messer that I ordered direct from Kreisler Historical Armes (4-5 month build/wait time). I appreciate the comment. The blade, hilt, and scabbard seem pretty old, or at least worn/weathered, but I agree it does look more fancy than functional, especially the guard. I’m hoping someone on here might recognize the patterns and maybe give some further insight. John
